BUTTERFLIES, MOTHS AND OTHER INSECTS

Daintree Rainforest insects are amazingly rich in their diversity

Guests are often greeted by a spectacular display of tropical butterflies, especially the beautiful blue Ulysses and the stunning Cairns Birdwing, the largest species in Australia.

Moths abound, especially during the wetter, summer months, but all year round there is a huge range of insects, ants and spiders - a paradise for entomologists.

These are all images I have taken at Daintree Valley Haven - if you would like to use them could you kindly credit them to me, Daphne Titus-Rees.  Thank you.
