Accommodation At Daintree Valley Haven
Each of the three self-contained, air-conditioned bed and breakfast bungalows is set in a private location with it's verandah offering a pleasant view over the rain-fed dam, colourful gardens and rainforest trees. Peace and tranquility with no passing traffic, television or telephones (the closest mobile coverage is 10 minutes away in Daintree Village). Guests awaken to birdsong and drift off to sleep to the gentle sounds of the forest.
Designed for couples, each has a queen-size bed and convertible sofa for one extra person, ensuite with shower, cooking facilities include a microwave, cooktop, fridge, dining table, comfortable lounge area and all linen.
To help you relax and unwind, or to set that romantic mood, each bungalow has a small CD player and several CD's of quiet music.
Daintree Valley Haven is a perfect honeymoon retreat or quiet hideaway for couples - Kindly note that there are no facilities for children under 12.
Your daily breakfast basket contains tropical fruits, juice, cereals, home-made marmalade and locally-grown coffee and tea - enjoy your own "breakfast with the birds" while relaxing on your private verandah.
There are barbeque-packs and vegetarian pasta meals for guests to purchase and prepare themselves; also reasonably-priced beer, wines and soft drinks.
Couples may enjoy a romantic dinner "at home", dining by candlelight to a background of gentle music on the CD player. Or perhaps relax in the jacuzzi spa in the lovely old shed before preparing a barbeque - the choice is yours!
For dining out there are several restaurants and cafes in tiny, picturesque Daintree Village (8km) where a very small range of basic supplies is available, and there are shops and a supermarket in Mossman.
Honeymoon and other packages are available.
