Accommodation At Daintree Valley Haven

The three bungalows are privately-located overlooking the rainforest and rain-fed dam and surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

Designed for couples, each has either a Queen or King/Twin bed (new in 2011) plus convertible sofa for one extra guest. Kindly note there are no facilities for children under 12.

There is an ensuite with large shower; kitchenette with microwave, electric cooktop, fridge and all cooking utensils; a timber dining setting and comfortable lounge area. The cabins are fully insectscreened, have whisper-quiet air-conditioners, a ceiling fan and a private verandah overlooking the rainforest.

To help you relax and unwind, or to set that romantic mood, each bungalow has a small CD/MP3 player and several discs of relaxing music. Drift off to sleep to the gentle sounds of the forest and awaken to birdsong.

Your daily breakfast basket, delivered to your cabin the previous afternoon, contains tropical fruits - some home-grown in season - fruit juice, cereals, home-made yoghurt and jam, locally-grown freshlyground coffee and Daintree tea - create your own "breakfast with the birds" on your private verandah!

There are self-cook meals and drinks available or bring your own supplies. Dine by candlelight “at home” or use the barbeque in the old shed - perhaps a pre-dinner drink while relaxing in the jacuzzi?

For dining out there are several restaurants and cafes in tiny, picturesque Daintree Village where a small range of basic supplies is available - otherwise the closest shops and supermarket are in Mossman.
